EHRI-UK National Research Fellowships
The EHRI-UK National Research Fellowships are designed to support and stimulate Holocaust research conducted by researchers, archivists, librarians, curators, and junior scholars, especially PhD candidates with limited resources. Projects will be considered within the Holocaust broadly conceived, including its prehistory, its aftermath, and the role of antisemitism before, during and after World War II. EHRI-UK Research Fellowships cover a stipend for travel, accommodation and subsistence for access lasting between 1 and 4 weeks at partner institutions within the British Isles.
We plan to release the first call for EHRI-UK National Research Fellowships in early 2025. To be the first to hear new about this scheme sign up to the EHRI-UK Newsletter here.
EHRI-UK Regional Placement Scheme
The EHRI-UK Regional Placement Scheme will be led by archival and heritage institutions and aims to provide postgraduate and undergraduate students with the opportunity to enhance their employability and learn new skills working on projects pre-designed by project partners. The EHRI-UK Regional Placement Scheme will provide unique opportunities to successful applicants in locations across the British Isles, local to the archive or heritage institution, who will be awarded a grant upon completion of 4 – 8 weeks of project work. This is an exciting opportunity to invest regionally and to provide opportunities for short-term internships that will offer training and skills provision in archival and heritage sciences.
